About MeMartin Anderson, 1854-1932, published his comic postcards under the name "Cynicus", through his the Cynicus Publishing Company at Tayport , Fyfe. He would take an image, such as this one, and make it sufficiently general so that he could issue the one image in a number of editions with different town names. This was a very successful business and he found numerous other publishers followed suit.
