About MeJenny Saville graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1992, where her paintings of gigantic nudes brought her immediate success. Glen Luchford is a fashion photographer, who first met Saville in 1994 when Vogue magazine commissioned him to take a portrait of the artist. Saville and Luchford began to collaborate, producing ten immensely powerful photographs of the artist, taken by Luchford under Saville's direction. Closed Contact No. 4 is a large detail of a distorted torso pressed against plexi-glass, a mysteriously abstracted landscape of flesh.

More About Me
Closed Contact comments on aesthetic surgery by distorting the female body.  Saville encourages the audience to consider their own bodies, both personally and displayed as a biological illustration.
