Some contained a range of images which might cover the length and breadth of Scotland others, like this one, held photographs of one particular place.This album was a gift to the family of the donor on the occasion their leaving Aberdeen for the United States of America. Originally from the Isle of Lewis the family had first settled in Aberdeen but in 1884 they travelled to Duluth, Minnesota.
