About MeThis camera which takes negative size 3.25" x 4.25", was used by Henry Fisher a local amateur photographer. He recorded many local scenes 1920s-1940s. A collection of his lantern slides have been deposited with the City's Libraries Service.

The camera was manufactured by Thornton Pickard of London (founded 1888) which was well known for its plate cameras in particular the "Amber" of 1899-1905 and the "Ruby" slightly later. The company went into decline during World War One and closed in 1940.
