About MePaul Furneaux trained at Edinburgh School of Art and followed this with a period of study at Tama Art University in Tokyo, where he developed his expertise in woodblock printmaking. In 1990 he won the Alastair Salvesen Travel Scholarship and with this funding travelled for three months in Japan. This impressive colour woodcut was produced at that time.
