About MeDesigned by A Marshall Mackenzie and officially opened in 1906 this Marischal College is said to be the second largest granite building in the world. The stone came from John Fyfe's quarries at Kemnay. With its "perpendicular gothic" style it is a stunning example of the carving and architectural detail achieved in granite at the turn of the 19th century. The detailed work was achieved using power tools.
