About MeGeorge Cassie & Son Limited was a prominent local engineering business which specialised in the manufacture of granite working machinery: frame, wire and circular saws ; polishers of the Jenny Lind type and its own development the Seaton Polisher. In addition the company also made boring machines and general plant for quarries.
