About MeWilliam Grassie trained as a druggist under Dr Reid of 181 Crown Street. his training started in 1891 when he was 15 years old. Finishing in 1896 he left Dr Reid to work for Davidson and Kay at 205 Union Street. Further training and examination led to his pharmaceutical registration in 1898. Mr Grassie remained with Davidson and Kay for 47 years, retiring in 1943.
