About MeFrom a collection which belonged to John Pirie, Captain of the Walter Hood from 1863-1867. The Walter Hood was built in Aberdeen in 1852 and sailed between London and Sydney.
Captain Pirie used this stick on board the Walter Hood. It is made from an exotic hardwood the grip being part of the growth.
