General History:
09/11/1901: Launched. Named by Mrs William Thomson.
07/12/1901: Trial trip in Aberdeen Bay.
19/05/1906: Chief Engineer John Rowan (37), 26 Skene Row (on Jack’s Brae), Aberdeen He was found dead in the engine crank pit when the engine stopped suddenly 25 miles off Kinnaird Head and appears to have fallen into the engine and been struck by the machinery. He left a widow and at least 4 children.
04/11/1912: Wrecked on North Ronaldsay and declared a total loss.
