26/02/1960: Arrived at Montrose for demolition.

General History:
12/11/1929: Fireman William Finniemore Luke (33) went missing at the time the trawler left Granton and may have been lost overboard.
25/01/1933: Arrived at Aberdeen towing the STAR OF PEACE whose boiler had broken adrift off Orkney.
28/08/1933: Skipper Brodie fined £3 for entering Aberdeen while the port was closed.
11/02/1939: Arrived at Aberdeen under tow by the STRATHRANNOCH after its tailshaft broke off the Orkneys.
18/05/1939: Notice for change of name to STAR OF PENTLAND.
29/08/1946: Notice to rename vessel VIKING PIONEER.
12/06/1952: Crew member William Potter burned about the face. While charging the vessel’s carbide chamber, he had struck a match to see inside.
04/12/1958: Put into Aberdeen with boiler trouble.

Notes:
From 1955 to 1956, the trawler SHAMA was renamed DANESTON with the Fishing No. A 246.
