Margaret Curtis

About MeMargaret Curtis produces beautifully distinctive pots rich in texture. She works from her County Durham studio that she shares with husband Eddie Curtis. Her work is influenced by her trips to Japan and she uses a mixture of black stoneware clay and white porcelain to make her pots. Usually thrown and altered, she then glazes them using celadon and shino.
