Eleazar

About MeThe steam liner Eleazar A771 was built at Hall Russell in 1895. Its principal owners, Messrs Wood, Caie and Leiper were great line fishermen from Torry. After working out of Aberdeen for six years, Eleazar was sold to a Hartlepool fisherman. The vessel was sunk in 1917 by submarine gunfire 25 miles off St Abbs head.
