Famenoth

About MeFamenoth was an iron ship built in 1876 by Messrs Dobie & Co, of Govan. Official number 70455 and distinguishing letters PSFJ. Famenoth went aground off Gravesend in March 1882 and five lives were lost. The vessel was refloated and repaired. Continued on voyages to Antipodes. Famenoth was owned by John Cook of Aberdeen.
