DescriptionExcavation was carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in 2000 on a small area on the east side of the street (21, 21a, 22, 24 Adelphi) . The excavation revealed that any evidence of St Katherine's Hill had been destroyed during the construction of Union Street as the area contained only garden soil and finds of a 19th-century date.
