Every year new objects enter Aberdeen’s Archives, Gallery & Museums collection. Here are just a few of our latest acquisitions for you to enjoy.
Through a combination of gifts, bequests, donations and purchases we continue to breathe new life and meaning into the collection. We cannot, however, collect everything. Potential acquisitions are assessed against our Collection Development Policy. All museums have these policies. They are extremely useful, helping to ensure objects find their way to the right home.
