03/04/1836:
"Falmouth, Mar. 28 - About one o'clock in the morning, the TRAVELLER, of Aberdeen, Godsman master, from St. Domingo, with a cargo of Coffee and Cotton, which put in here for orders about five days since, drove on one anchor ... she soon got on Trefusis rocks, and about three o'clock was a total wreck, and her cargo destroyed; every effort was made to save the ship and cargo, but all of no avail; the crew however, are saved."
