General History:
She had previously been stranded in February 1912 at Sanday, Orkney. Four members of crew were lost when ship's boat was smashed, one member swam ashore, remaining four saved by Stronsay lifeboat.
Sunk 19 May 1915 while on a fishing trip from Aberdeen; CRIMOND was captured by a German submarine and the crew forced to abandon ship without loss of life. She was then sunk by explosive charges.
