27/04/1911: Launched. Named by Mrs Graham.
13/05/1911: Trials in Aberdeen Bay.
15/05/1911: Trial trip from Hartlepool for an invited company, final payment 17 May 1911.
20/01/1912: Landed the crew of the Norwegian barque PROFESSOR JOHNSON, rescued from the sinking vessel in the North Sea.

Engine details: Steam by screw, inverted, surface condensing, triple expansion engine, 12” x 20” x 34” with 23” stroke, 435 i.h.p., 75 r.h.p. by H.R.
