About MeCoats that fastened with a belt became fashionable after clothes rationing was introduced in 1941, which put a limit on how many buttons could be used. Interestingly this drawing also promotes Falconers as the fashion centre of the north.

More About Me

Fettes, a freelance commercial artist, produced fashion drawings for Aberdeen's department stores. Falconers was on the SE corner of Union and Market Street.
