Notes: from 1800 Smack rigged.
There is some uncertainty to the attribution of this ship to Aberdeen. It is marked as built in Aberdeen in Lloyd's register 1784 (A425), 1786 (A461), and 1787 (A434). However, from 1789 (A438) what otherwise appears to be the same ship is marked as built in Ipswich. To add to the confusion, from underwriters 1800 (A598) it gets younger, built in 1778. That may add to the suspicion that this is a second vessel but it is still worthy of note here because it is also marked as "almost rebuilt [17]97 at Aberdeen"!
