"The sloop ELIZA AND PEGGY, Murray, of this place, from London to Sunderland, shifted her ballast in a violent gale last week, near the Dudgeon; and being laid on her beam ends, was righted by cutting away the mast, which, with the rigging, sails, bowsprit, &c. was lost, as also afterwards both anchors and cables, in which state the vessel was towed into Yarmouth."
