About MeThe house named 'Thraves' lies on the southern outskirts of the village of Graffham, West Sussex, nestled in a small valley on the north side of the South Downs. The house was built circa 1410 and is a medieval four bayed hall house although over the centuries it has been the subject of much structeral alteration. At one time the house had been the rectory for the church located nearby and in this study McBey depicts both the house and church as well as the village and valley.
