About MeThese two porcelain vases are decorated with blue prancing horses and have dog-shaped handles.

The horse and the dog are both calendrical animals in the Chinese zodiac which is a repeating pattern of 12 years with each year represented by an animal.

The horse represents speed and perseverance and the dog represents loyalty and honesty in Chinese culture.
