GERRANS. [near Truro] Maritime. — This place has had a grievious share of the calamities which have characterised the past winter. Five persons from this village have been lost, and we very much fear we shall have to add the loss of the brig, "ANN MITCHELL," Capt. George Rail master, which left Cardiff with a cargo of iron and coals on the 15th of December last, bound for Barry [sic], near Trieste, and has not since been heard of. The captain and four hands from here were part of her crew.
