About MeGryphon Alpha was the first purpose-built Floating Production Storage & Offloading Vessel working in the North Sea.

These ships are designed to process and store oil and gas, which are then exported to shore by tanker or pipeline.

The vessel is 260 metres long and can store up to 535,000 barrels of oil.
