About MeThis is a full hull ship model in a case, of the coaster 'Kildrummy', built at Hall Russell & Co. Ltd in 1924 for the Aberdeen, Newcastle and Hull Steam Navigation Company, Aberdeen. We have an illustration of the house flag for this ship in the collections which you can see on our website; www.aberdeenships.com.

This model was privately owned by a local collector who bought it from the former Hall Russell's Social Club on Shiprow in approximately 1993.
The model is of a typical construction for its type and age; wood with silver fittings and original silver maker's plaque. The case is of a style made for Hall Russell's models, but is not original, having been made for the current owner by a local craftsman.
The model has been carefully re-rigged; otherwise it is in excellent and original condition with no replacement parts or repainting.
