About MeOn 30 August 1932, James and Marguerite set off to drive to Spain. They took a leisurely route, down the West Coast of France, through Bordeaux and into Spain, via San Sebastian, Burgos, Madrid, Toledo and finally arriving in Seville, where James had rented a studio.

In Seville he concentrated once more on the bullfight, making sketches and finished watercolours of the matadors, toreadors and the magnificent black bulls.
