About MeVictorian black mourning jacket is heavily decorated with lace and sequences of jet beads. It is made of black velvet with black silk lining. It has stand-up collar which is trimmed with double layers of gray lace, broad sleeves with wide opening which is also trimmed with lace, and two front decorative panels, covered with lace and hung from the bodice. A pocket is attached on the lining of the left panel hanging from the bodice. Jet beads decoration, which look like flowers, is applied on the large area of the bodice and the back of the sleeves. Elastic band is attached on the lining of the tail which would hook up at the front. It is locally made.
