About MePrivate view invitation to the opening of Foundation Cartier's autumn exhibition, which included work by Ian Hamilton Finlay under the title "Poursuites Revolutionnaires." The exhibition ran from 20 September to 13 December 1987, and the opening took place on Sunday 20 September at 11am.

The invitation consists of a folding card with three sheets of card inserted. The first has an embossed figure and relates to Ian Hamilton Finlay's work; the second is grey and relates to the landscape photographs of Daniel Boudinet; and the final sheet in yellow advertises the paintings of Emmanuel Pereire from 1983-1987. The front of the folding card has a reproduction of one of Daniel Boudinet's photographs.

This is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem print and multiple as it was made.
