About MeHoly Bible apparently presented to John Brown’s brother, Hugh, and his wife, by Queen Victoria, dated Balmoral 17th September 1876.

The first page is inscribed in the Queen’s hand: "To Hugh Brown & his Wife In recollection of their beloved Mother from Queen Victoria Rg Balmoral Sept:17.1876"

Her Majesty also inscribed 4 lines of Scripture underneath this dedication.
