About MeCarte de Visite of the south aisle of Glasgow Cathedral. The cathedral was built from the twelfth century onwards and was previously the Roman Catholic mother church of the Archdiocese of Glasgow. There are high archways and pews visible in the foreground with a view that peers down the aisle of the cathedral. There is a pencil note on the reverse in the top right corner: '50.'George Washington Wilson
