About MeThe casing of a World War II bomb, in two separate parts having been dismantled by the bomb squad.

The casing is in poor condition having been corroded over time, and as such any maker’s marks that may have been there are no longer visible.

The largest section measures 55cm long, with a diameter of 20cm. There is a hole on one side, which measures 8cm in diameter, and 6cm below this, there is another, smaller hole.

Above these, towards the tip of the casing there is a mark of white paint, presumable added at some point over the years.

The second, smaller section is bowl shaped and again has no visible markings due to corrosion. It has a diameter of 20cm and a depth of 14.5cm.
