About MeUndated article printed in an unknown newspaper, related to high prices obtained for pieces of work sold at auction. The bottom section is titled "Modern Etchings" and talks about a one day sale of etchings at Southeby's. In this sale etchings by James McBey were sold such as "The Matador" (see ABDAG002960) for £7 15s and "Runsdorp" (see ABDAG001794) for £8 10s.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
