About MeThis colourful brooch is an archetypal example of 1970s design by one of Scotland's leading designer-jewellers, Norman Grant.

Grant studied at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, initially in graphic design before moving into silversmithing. Grant felt that he was able to apply is graphics skills in 3 dimensional works to create forms inspired by organic shapes and structures.
