About MeBlack and white photograph, with negative, depicting a portrait of "Chuffy" the pug, painted by James McBey in 1936. The photograph was taken by William S. Paton A.R.P.S.

The images were originally sent to Marguerite McBey in 1976 by Lord Rowallan in an envelope labelled "photographs in Bill Rowallan's possesion."

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this reproduction.
