Also along the sides, three hooks remain of a system of four which would have held netting or further support ropes.
There is a square metal shaft bracket on one end which is in line with another underneath. These would have taken a steering bar which is now missing.
Each end of the cart has two curved metal bumpers on the outside edges.
The underside has metal strengthening bars and a wooden cross beam which dips in the centre.
