About MeA 'Yes Ball Games' football from a campaign run by the Denis Law Legacy Trust and launched in Aberdeen in 2015. Denis Law Legacy Trust joined forces with Aberdeen Greenspace, Aberdeen Play Forum, the City Council and many other partners to launch a campaign that resulted in Aberdeen City Council removing hundreds of No Ball Games signs from across the city in 2015. Denis Law, the most celebrated footballer from the city, was on hand to remove the first one in 2015.
It meant that Aberdeen became the first council area to remove such signs in Scotland. Many other councils in Scotland have followed suit since. Much of these No Ball Games signs were erected in housing estates in the 1970s, but they have never been legally enforceable.
