About MeThis is an example of the full dress uniform of the Kincardinshire Volunteers, as they wore it in the late nineteenth century. It consists of a navy doe-skin wool jacket and straight dress trousers with metallic braiding.

The uniform was worn by Major David Torry and his jacket features epaulettes on the shoulders to indicate his rank.
