About MeFull dress trousers, which are part of a Kincardineshire Volunteers full dress uniform.

These navy doeskin wool straight cut trousers feature a thick stripe of metallic chevron braid on each leg. The trousers form part of the uniform which includes a jacket that is also embellished with thick metallic frogging.

The uniform was worn by Major David Torry during the late nineteenth century. The jacket features epaulettes on the shoulders to indicate his rank.
