About MeIn Memoriam cards were used to advise of the death of a loved one, and to acknowledge the sympathy of relatives and friends. These cards also served as a physical reminder of the deceased. They were often elaborately decorated with images of ivy, crosses and flowers. Short religious or sentimental verses were also printed inside the cards.
