About MeThis early 20th century costume, purchased from Isaac Benzie, was designed as a walking dress, despite its straight skirt and close fitting boned bodice. The only concession is the double band of fabric around the hem to protect it from the dirt and dust.

More About Me
How times change! Do you think you could do much walking in this? Isaac Benzie was a local Aberdeen department store until it was bought by House of Fraser in 1955 and rebranded in 1972.
