About MeThe important mint at Perth produced the series of groat, half-groat and penny for Robert II. As in David II's reign the half-groat's design was almost identical to that of the groat. The inscription VILLA DE PERTH (Town of Perth) indicates the origin of the coin.

No coins of Aberdeen mint are known from this reign but a new mint at Dundee supplemented the output of Perth and Edinburgh.
