About MeEach side of this cloisonne panel displays a different scene of foliage, flowers and birds. Panels like these may well have been wall mounted in metal frames or they may have been inserted into a wooden frame or screen so that both sides of the panel could be viewed. Some panels were also inserted into the lid of decorative boxes so that when the lid was opened, the underside could be viewed.More About Me
