About MeCarte de visite of two young girls possibly sisters. The girl on the left is seated on a plush chair with tassels reading an open book. Her her is lightly plaited and has ribbons in it. The girl on the right is standing with her legs crossed over each other, her right hand is resting on the other girl's knee. Both are wearing matching outfits; white dresses which look a little like sailor suits and have bows on the front. The seated girl is resting her feet on a small stool and there is a table visible in the background. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full.
