About MeCarte de visite of a family pictured in a fake window with a decorated ledge, (from left to right): there is a girl wearing a dark dress and white collar. Next to her is a woman, presumably her mother who is wearing a dress with a light lace trim collar and brooch, she is also holding an infant. The infant is in a light dress with a patterned hem. Next is presumably the father who has a large beard. The next child is wearing a dress and a hairband and her right arm is slightly raised. Finally the last child is seated on the ledge in a dark dress with white socks and boots and is looking directly at the camera. Photographer's full print details can be seen on reverse side as well as the letter 'E' hand-written in pencil. c.1860s
