About MePair of figures from the 'French Seasons' set, modelled by Pierre Stefan. The boy represents 'Spring' and the girl 'Autumn'. Each figure is portrayed with flowers and foliage of the appropriate season. The period 1770-1784 was one of greatly improved modelling at the Derby factory, thanks to the experience of the Chelsea painters. Pierre Stephan was the chief modeller in the first years of the combined Chelsea Derby factory.
