About MeThe large and colourful vase seen behind the sitter is the Dragon Handled Cloisonne Vase which is in the Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums collection. Cromar Watt left the vast majority of his personal collection to Aberdeen in the form of a bequest upon his death in 1940.More About Me
This portrait of Cromar Watt, artist, architect and jeweller, was painted by Strachan, arguably the most significant Scottish designer of stained glass. Both were born in Aberdeen and they worked together on jewellery designs.
