About MeDating from1892 this is a rather late issue. It is of a standard type, being rectangular with cut corners and inscribed on both sides. The biblical text quoted is slightly different from the usual ones and is from First Corinthians, Chapter 11, Verse 25.

Standing on the east bank of the River Don just outside Inverurie, Kinkell Church, now a roofless ruin, dates from the 16th century and was dedicated to St Michael. Its most notable surviving feature is a decorated sacrament house of 1524.
