About MeThe sitter, Margaret Sim, was the wife of George Reid’s younger brother Archibald. She lived with her husband at St Luke’s, keeping house when George and Mia Reid were in Edinburgh or abroad. This painting hung in this house from the year it was painted until St Luke’s was sold some fifty years later.
